I have been creating in clay since 2004. I enjoy creating work that is natural and expressive. I continue to educate myself through daily work, attending workshops and courses and reading. Clay has endless possibilities of expression which captivates and motivates me to continue. Currently my work is a combination of wheel thrown, altered, hand built and carved. The leather hard pieces are decorated with slip trailing, drawing and brushwork and glazes are sprayed.
I am inspired with the evolution of all organic and material forms of creative expression. The balance of expression between shape and surface design is fundamental to my work.
